Acid slurry is a sulphonation product made by sulphonation of linear alkyl benzene by oleum or so3 or sulphuric acid. LAS have been the major surfactant used in detergents for more than thirty years and continues to represent a substantial portion of the surfactants market today.

Acid thickeners are cationic surfactants that can make disinfectants viscous and inhibit corrosion. They can be used to thicken hydrochloric acid, and when combined with sodium chloride (salt), they can thicken other acids, such as phosphoric, sulfuric, hydrofluoric, citric, and oxalic.

Acid thickener is used in many products, including:
Household cleaners, Metal cleaners, Detergent sanitizers, Abrasive cleaners, Disinfectants, Cleaning agents, Cosmetics, Dyes.Acid thickener is also used in oilfield applications, such as well stimulation.It is especially used in compositions such as toilet bowl cleaners, metal cleaners and brighteners, rust stain removers, denture cleansers, metal descalers, general hard surface cleaners, detergent, disinfectants and other cleaning agents.

ACUSOL 445N is a liquid detergent polymer that's used in laundry detergents, household cleaners, and industrial cleaning products. It's a homopolymer of acrylic acid with an optimized molecular weight.

ACUSOL 445N is fully neutralized and provides enhanced performance properties, such as dispersion of precipitates. It's also caustic stable, long-lasting foam, and low filming/low streaking.


ACUSOL 445N is soluble up to 35% active caustic solids. Acute and chronic toxicity studies show that ACUSOL 445N is non-toxic to aquatic and terrestrial species.


ACUSOL 445N is available in liquid form and partially or fully neutralized grades. It's also available in a spray-dried form.
